Hi there! Thank you very much for the high definition pictures. I'm trying to get my MS509 (clone version) to connect to my pc. I notice that there are a 4 components missing on my unit. The U16 is missing and thanks to you I know which one to get. But I need the values of the two resistors on top of the U16 and the value of the CRY4 Crystal and Capacitors C15 and C16.

I think, Crystal=6 MHz, and C15=C16=27 pF

ReplyDeleteI manage to update DTS of my ms509 clone by putting FDTI chips and 6MHZ crystal. I did'nt update software version because some user bricked their unit when they update the version. If ever i have a backup of U9 atmel micro processor and U12 eeprom will try to update but the problem is when i tried to read u12 45DB161D-SU (Atmel) my programmer tells me that the ic is locked. you can visit my blog with my modification of my clone scanner http://darwinbagsik.blogspot.com/2015/04/cloned-autel-ms-509-scanner-modification.html
